Cable grab is a cam actuated fall arrester, which slides freely up and down a stainless steel or galvanized steel wire cable and locks on the cable to arrest a fall.

Requirements:

USE ONLY a Carabiner that meets ANSI/CSA Standards with a 3/8″ (10mm) Round Cross Section Body. Elk River Carabiner 17450 included. USE ONLY on 7 x 19 constructed cable that has a minimum breaking strength of 6000 lbs (27kN). USE ONLY on a vertical cable system that is part of a fixed ladder or a similar climbing system. The Maximum Distance between the carrier cable and the attachment point is 9″ (200mm).
