Description
It keeps dust, corrosion, and other contaminants in the gasoline tank from entering the fuel system. When dust and rust block the fuel pump, carburetor, and fuel injection devices (injector, for example), it makes it difficult to give enough fuel for combustion. As a result, starting failure, idle instability, power loss, and other issues arise. A fuel filter needs replacement after 400 hours or two years (whichever comes first), and a high-pressure fuel filter after 1000 hours. Suzuki strongly advises installing a water separator assembly between your boat’s fuel tank(s) and outboard motor(s).
