Description
Brand new universal 3/8″ NPT Smart Start air intake filter for air compressors this is also a direct replacement for many Rigid, Campbell Hausfeld, Husky, and Sears compressors. This filter will fit any compressor that has 3/8″ female NPT threads for the air filter to screw into as long as there is no room or clearance issues this filter measures 3″ tall with threads and 2.5″ in diameter. This filter was designed to eliminate compressor starting problems by allowing the compressor to reach full RPM before allowing air in. This filter helps take the start-up load of the compressor and can help prevent blown circuits as well as help it start in cold weather. The 3/8″ threads on this filter measure about 5/8″ in diameter. If your compressor has a smaller thread or larger thread size a reducer found at a local hardware store will work to adapt it. The manufacture model number for this filter is AIC38 the replacement element is a AIC38 RK.
