How to Measure Your RV Doorway for the Perfect Fit:
To avoid ordering errors, please take two quick physical measurements of your camper’s threshold entry area before choosing your options from our dropdown menus:
- Measure Entry Width: Measure the clear inside distance from frame-to-frame (inside edge to inside edge) at your entry doorway.
- If your opening is 25″ to 28-7/8″, select the 26-Inch Series.
- If your opening is 29″ to 36″, select the 30-Inch Series.
- Measure Entry Height: Measure the vertical distance straight down from the top edge of your door threshold plate down to the flat ground surface.
- 22″ to 28″ Height Range: Requires the Double (2-Step) Assembly.
- 27″ to 36″ Height Range: Requires the Triple (3-Step) Assembly.
- 34″ to 44″ Height Range: Requires the Quad (4-Step) Assembly.
*Note: There must be at least 3/8″ of clear spacing from the bottom of the entry and screen doors to the top of the threshold plate to ensure sufficient closure room for the step’s hinge mechanism.
