Lippert’s Kwikee Step “A” Linkage IMGL & Control Unit is a replacement part for Lippert Kwikee steps with “A” linkage. This includes Series 22, 23, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, & 40. It includes the IMGL (Integrated Motor/Gear Box/Linkage), 9510 Control Unit, and a pin and clevis kit. The IMGL offers improved performance and longer life. The motor offers 40% more motor torque and gives the step a strong lock-out and solid feel. The gearbox has fully-sealed dual ball bearings for improved efficiency and requires no maintenance, The case halves seal to keep consistent alignment and protect the gear from the elements. The investment cast zinc-plated steel linkage assembly is strong and resistant to corrosion. The brass spherical outer cage hardened ball in the linkage is stronger, wears longer, and will not oblong. The 9510 Control Unit keeps the step open when the door is open. The step can be locked in the extended position, but cannot be locked in the retracted position. The automatic ignition override makes the step follow the door.
