Description
The Water Water Jacket Cover Gasket controls the circulation of coolant that allows water to be pumped through and circulated. It appeared to be a full tar paper covering the entire water jacket opening, the inner cover, and the outer steel cover. The pump forces coolant from the lower radiator tank connection into the forward portion of the cylinder block. It needs a quality gasket to seal and strongholds to the surface to prevent a leak. Using a high-quality gasket will help other parts damaged by corrosion when there is a leak from it.
