The Caldwell 1217425 Lead Sled DFT 3 is a heavy-duty shooting rest designed to deliver maximum stability and recoil reduction for sighting in even the largest magnum rifles. Its dual-frame construction retains the original twin tube design while relocating the tubes beneath the weight tray to improve clearance for detachable magazines, pistol grips, and lever-action firearms. A sliding frame design provides up to 6″ of length adjustment, allowing compatibility with a wide range of stock lengths for a customized fit. The benchrest-style front support features smooth ball-bearing elevation adjustment and precise backlash-free windage control for accurate and repeatable aiming. An all-weather skeletonized rubber front bag and rear shock-eliminating recoil pad help protect both firearm and optics while reducing felt recoil during firing.
